Sabrina Ionescu stepped onto the court Tuesday night wearing the Nike Sabrina 4 “The Academy,” an EYBL Player Exclusive (PE) colorway of her fourth signature sneaker.
The vibrant PE features a glossy pink upper complemented by Volt Swooshes, neon lace accents, and a translucent pink midsole, delivering one of the boldest Sabrina 4 designs seen so far.
“The Academy” is part of Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) collection, a series of player-exclusive sneakers created to celebrate the premier grassroots basketball circuit. While EYBL editions have historically been reserved for players and select participants, they have become some of the most sought-after colorways among sneaker collectors.
Although Nike has not announced whether “The Academy” Sabrina 4 will receive a retail release, Ionescu’s on-court debut of the PE is likely to generate significant buzz. The Sabrina signature line has become one of basketball’s most popular performance models, praised for its lightweight construction, reliable traction, and versatility by players ranging from the youth ranks to the NBA and WNBA.
